Woods Nears Record

With five more receptions, wide receiver Robert Woods will surpass Dwayne Jarrett and become the Trojans’ all-time leading receiver.
“It would mean a lot to me,” Woods said. “Growing up watching all the USC receivers, to be on the list with them at the top of it, it’s an honor and a privilege. Hopefully, I can do it on Saturday at home.”

  1. congrats to him. Despite my hatred of all things SC, he’s an amzaing player and a thrill to watch.

  2. Shockingly classy comment…I’d be happier but I’m sure Bucket’ll be in here in a second to lower my opinion of Bruins back down again.

  3. If nobody responded to bucket of shit and his little taimex sister, then we could take the blog back.

Now how about we turn it up this week and let Woods and Lee put on the show we have been waiting for.

  4. Spud, great point. in the interviews i’ve seen, i have been struck by how intelligent, humble and classy Woods is, and i have not and will not ever say anything bad about him.

that said, i have to wonder why it is Kiff keeps saying Marquise Lee is gonna be the best trOXan ever. i am inclined to probably agree on a factual basis, but you don’t say it with Woods still there. such disrespect to a guy who played hurt all last year and jeopardized his career and millions all for the team. if you want to stroke Lee for the awards, wait till Woods leaves, geeez!

  5. yeah, never understood Lane’s stroking of Lee in place of Woods either. It’s almost like he’s asking him to leave early. In any event, Woods was a freak before Lee, but Lee wouldn’t be the freak he is without Woods there.
