Why didn’t Lane Kiffin spike the ball at midfield with less than 20 seconds remaining? Matt Barkley said he did not make those decisions, so that left Kiffin.
He did not address this during a hectic post-game press conference when it was mentioned.
It was an awful sight watching the clock wind down and then Barkley heaving a pass down sideline when USC still could run 2-3 plays to get into field-goal range.
Sorry but I again have to return to Lane Kiffin. Going conservative. Throwing to fullback. Blowing off Marqise Lee much of second half.
Marqise Lee even catches a 2-point play.
What’s happened to the Trojans’ offense? Anyone? Anyone?
Arizona scored 26 straight points.
The teams have combined for more than 1,000 yards but it seems as though Lane Kiffin is too conservative.
While everyone was focused on records, Arizona scored 2 TDs to cut the lead to 2 points. Maybe Lane Kiffin needs to throw even more to Marqise Lee.
It’s finally halftime!
What did we learn? Marqise Lee is so good even Lane Kiffin cannot keep him down.
Points are flowing now as Marqise Lee puts on a one-man show with 255 yards receiving, only five off R. Jay Soward’s school record.
USC will 311 yards in offense with 2:38 left in half.
Marqise Lee carrying USC right now with 180 yards receiving.
