The venerable betting publication, the Gold Sheet, predicts Oregon will defeat USC, 45-27

  1. USC’s defense has to be very opportunistic in any mistakes the duck offense makes. I just don’t believe Monte Kiffin is up to matching witts with Chip Kelly. Like last year’s game, we need some breaks and then hold on. I just can’t see this game going any other way for USC to win. I do know the coliseum crowd will boo Kiffin unmercifully if Kiffin pulls what he did last week. Bet on that!

  2. USC will have to make some major corrections and get some turnovers to stay in a shootout, like last year. Unfortunately, the way both teams have been playing, it’ll likely be like 2 years ago, Oregon 21-14 at the half, USC gets out coached again, in the second half. Final score, Oregon 49-24.

  3. The betting money has to assume that the future will resemble the past–USC will have inopportune penalties, too many turnovers, an unproductive offense in the second half, and its defense will struggle against the spread. But you never know. USC has some level of edge in athletic talent, and the home field advantage. “That’s why they play the games.”

  4. 48-21 Ketchup and mustard on the losing end. Barney gets BEAT UP and leaves the game in the 3rd quarter. DAT runs wild. LIMBO U slips little lower.
    fit on torgan!
(Earlier this season…..What the heck did Coach Mora say about safety issues at that campus down town?)

    • He(mora) said football players should not ride their scooters without a helmet on….ouch!
