Ball Gate

Does the deflated-ball scandal raise questions about Matt Barkley’s passing stats against Oregon (or Arizona the week before)? It certainly does a disservice to him and Marqise Lee because this will be national story today and people will now associate this with USC.

  1. This sounds like a losing ‘game plan’ that Monte Kiffin came up with.
Monte– “Let’s deflate some balls, ya see. Back when I played foozball at Talladega College we use to call that the old Flat-chested Fannie move, ya see. Oregahn will never know what hit em and why they went limp, ya see….Where’s my copy of AARP, ya seen it?”

Moribund Monte has got to go before he inflicts more damage.

  2. True or not….you are definitely on a mission to hammer Kiffin. It’s getting to be obnoxious…BTW, I am as upset & frustrated by the last two defensive performances as anyone & have zero confidence in Monty Kiffin, but your daily attempts to shoot daggers at USC is over the top. Will there ever be a time you could write something constructive?

    • Well if this coaching staff wasn’t getting schooled week after week, and the head coach would quit saying and doing stupid, embarrassing stuff and win with class Wolf could. USC football has to much glory and history for this by Kiffin and his staff.

  3. If this was partly done to help Barkley with throws, you wonder if Barks has a hand issue?

  4. “Ball Gate” sounds like a “themed night” the cadre would host, with nothing to due with a football……ouch!
