Kiffin On Ballgate (Part 2)

“I’m sure if we knew that, our kickers wouldn’t be very happy with that because no kicker’s ever going to want a deflated ball,” Lane Kiffin said today.

What about the punter? Special teams coach John Baxter always says he doesn’t want punts returned. Wouldn’t a deflated ball bounce less and be harder to return?

Damn wolf. you just stoked the fire with that last sentences. why? com’on man!!

    • TrojanFan

Enough is a enough wolfman, you are starting to look like a fuckin idiot….and you wonder why you get no respect

  • SoCal_Native_59

WTF is wrong with you? This is embarrasing to all of us. Are you so full of yourself, all you do is grind your ax? Do you think Kiffin ordered this, if so say so. This was one student manager who is responsible for shaming the entire program, but you, you are a SOS that shames the human race.

If you look back with a clear eye, Scott Wolf made many observations about the coaching staff and the players that were dead on. I thought that all the other writers were too diplomatic.

But this is Scott’s Achilles heel–he can be a bitchy dog that nips at the heels, instead of just biting.

You’re really right: if he thinks Kiffin did it, he should investigate, or state his case. Otherwise, why does he want to write 6 blog entries that mean very little?

      • TrojanFamily

Scott doesn’t investigate. That’s actual journalism. He’d rather just troll his own board.

  • Independent_George

I thinks this is Scott’s passive-aggressive way of saying that Kiffen is behind this with saying that he is behind this.

    • TrojanFamily

And then refusing to actually investigate the claim as an actual journalist might do, That involves this thing called sources, which Scott does not have.

      • Independent_George

That’s the great disappointment. No one is asking basic questions. Oregon isn’t going to comment because Kelly wants focus on football, like Pete’s best teams from 2003 to 2008. The is SC’s bath water to stew in. We have Kiffen side, should never be the last word, because Kiffen does not have a history of being completely forthright. The official USC statement is terse and lacks facts. A few phone call should be able to clear things up, but that would require Scott to do, I don’t know, actual journalism.

I really can’t believe this has blown up into such a kerfuffle. Seriously, I’ve never heard of a team being fined for such an infraction. Does this happen often? A quick google search gave me nothing on similar incidences.

  • oh, what did All Devis say about Kiff???? oh yes, he called him a “flat out liar”
oh wolfman, this is turning out to be the beast season EVER!!!!
