Paging Mr. Jones

Forget Manti Te’o, what USC needs is former linebacker Jarvis Jones.

  1. He leads the NCAA in forced fumbles (6, .6 per game) and is second in tackles for loss (19.5, 1.95 per game).
  2. Ranks fourth nationally with 1.05 sacks per game and leads Georgia with 10.5 sacks.
  3.  In SEC games, Jones ranks first in the league in sacks and tackles for loss.
  4. He led the team with a career-high 13 tackles, 12 of which were solo vs. No. 3-ranked Florida.

Wolf’s love of posting updates about Jarvis Jones’ stellar post-USC career reminds me of a line in Happy Gilmore: “What would I know, I’m just a Doctor.”

  • Guess the doctors we employ at USC are as bad as the staff attorneys who allegedly advised Benedict not to sue the NCAA

It’s sickening to think of the talent at LB we missed out on due to medical decisions and recruiting failures.

  • it must be particularly crushing to think that the trOXans lost out on Jonnes (Dr opin) AND Manti ISouthern Cal wouldnt take his lil’ buddy Toma) AND Vontaize Burfict

And the broken record plays on and on and on

Wolf the question is why are USC docs making such conservative calls that are obviously wrong, Jones AND Armstead (just won the Grey Cup), that other docs are clearing these guys? Get us some answers. With good coaching we would have won this season without Manti, Jones or Armstead.
