USC practiced at the Coliseum this morning. The seniors did not practice but instead coached the team. Matt Barkley was not there because he was flying back from New York. Marqise Lee was also not at practice because he flew to Orlando for the Biletnikoff Award.

Kiffin said offensive lineman Abe Markowitz will not be back next season even though he is applying for a sixth year.

“We’re not bringing him back,” Kiffin said, citing scholarship limitations.

Whether Markowitz returns as a walk-on remains to be seen.
