We hear a significant donor recently was intercepted by a compliance official while trying to express his dismay over the football program to an administrator and blocked from expressing his complaints.

        A lot of people refused to give up extra $ they may not even have for a network that showed no willingness to make sure its games were seen by a majority of its fans. Why sign up with a new satellite TV provider and pay another $100/month on top of what you are paying to your current provider in order to see a few games in which we didn’t do all that well anyway?

            To sign up for Dish requires an $1,100 commitment over 2 years. All this to watch a maximum of 10 games over that same period. If you wish to roll over and accept without fighting or for that matter understanding the bind the Network has put the fans in, then it’s apparent you have no backbone…not to mention any sense either LOL…just saying

            So failing to understand the problem the Conference put the fans in and how best to rectify it is a Conference and FAN problem, one that will hurt the PAC-12 in the pocket in the end.

    …the word around Figueroa and Hoover is that the USC supply and maintenance dept. revoked a previously approved supply order for 3 rolls of concertina wire and 1 roll of barbed wire which was to be placed around Lane’s podium at all his public appearances starting January 2013. It is, of course, strictly a rumor.
