Massington To UCLA

Eldridge Massington, the wide receiver who was forced to decommit from USC when he could not graduate high school early, instead will attend UCLA.

That should make the crosstown rivalry even more interesting.

  1. Massington tweeted picking ucla was not a jab at U$C…yeah right! Dawn of a new era, Sanction On! Go Bruins!!!

    • Remember the good old days when Pete would take a recruit away from the gutties just because he could?

      • That was a long time ago…. Now Mora’s doing it to the gutty little Trojans.

  2. Who cares? We have more talent as 3rd string WR than UCLA does total. Good for the kid. Sorry, no room buddy…no move on to the sloppy seconds university.

    • You guys do have better receivers than we do at UCLA. Great job and you have lined up a grand total of 1 offensive line recruit in this class. Based upon the face plant Barks took into the Rose Bowl turf, Wittek may need a few more to get the ball off, or 7-5 will look like a good year.

  3. Massington is a great get. Like many YOUNG adults while in High School, initially, his thinking was clouded at best. He has begun the maturation process and eventually made the wise choice. It’s obvious he’s a smart young man, after all…in all likely hood he’s qualified for UCLA’s academic standards. How often in the past have we witnessed players rejecting SUCks then going the J.C. or Ariz. State route (Vontaz, Scroggins, James Boyd & more) because of academics? The SUCks North Campus, Trade Tech, has long been utilized by Southern Cal athletes who find the rigors of being a “STUDENT ATHLETE a little too challenging. I suppose, in the end , everything “evens out”. We got Massington, and we gave you “Spittin’ and Gropin’ Tyler.
    fit on torgan!

  4. If ever anyone questioned whether this kid would leave Texas, you now have your answer. Now we get to find out how good he REALLY is.

  5. Kid will in fact be an EE if I understand correctly. So it wasn’t him not being able to graduate early, it was SC having too many dopes who couldn’t graduate on time to clear the space that led him elsewhere. LOL.

    • You are such a moron. We dropped him because there was no room you shit head. Fuck you and Scott Wolf, both faggot pussies.

      • Sorry, my friend, but he’s an EE. Lame was counting on a certain number of scholarship players graduating this semester. Some wont, hence there’s not enough room for him as an EE. And yes, SC is fairly full at WR, so they told him they didn’t have room in the 2013 class.

Btw, 38-28. A lot of good all those WRs did you this year! 7-5, LOL!

        • from espn:
As of today, there are six commits who plan to enroll for the spring semester at USC: Max Browne, Chris Hawkins, Su’a Cravens, Kenny Bigelow, Kylie Fitts and Justin Davis.

          • The class of ’12 is capped at 15. Unless SC only gave 9 rides February for the class of ’12, this is incorrect. So, in closing, this is incorrect.

  6. Glad for him that he’s attending a good university. Who knows what really happened?

For USC, it’s not a catastrophe. Contrast that with Lane Kiffin continuing in 2013 to operate the offense with the insularity and methodology of 2012. That would be negative outcome to concern fans.

  7. Lucien, Massington, Evans, Manfro with Hundley in the pocket. #1 rated O-line class in the nation coming in to augment an already strong, young O line corps… Things are looking bright for the Bruins!

  8. Seriously?? Bunch of putos and mf’in panochskis, pooh nannies and bi*ches crying all over this blog. Alright, so Kiffin lost Massington. Big deal. Cowboy up putos.
