Woods, Robey NFL Updates

Wide receiver Robert Woods said he met with Lane Kiffin and Kiffin “made a nice sales pitch” foor Woods to remain at USC. Woods said he would decide right before the Sun Bowl but probably keep his decision secret until after the game.
Cornerback Nickell Robey said “nothing is set in stone” regarding his decision but he would want his NFL evaluation to say he is a first or second round pick. Robey said he will decide after the Sun Bowl.

  1. Keep your mouth shut Woody. If you say you’re going pro before the Sun Bowl, Kiffin will surely see to it that you remain invisible throughout the game. If you keep him guessing, he might (I said MIGHT) have the ball thrown your way enough times to sucker you into thinking if you come back, there’ll be more in store for you.

    DON’T FALL FOR IT!!

    Instead, use the Sun Bowl as one last opportunity to showcase your talents before declaring for the pros.

  2. Woods hates Kiffen, and isn’t really trying to hide it anymore. Guy screwed him all year – why on earth would he stay?

  3. Woods is a second or third round pick. He does not have NFL speed. Robey is a mid round pick. He’s a solid player but to small for the NFL. Both would be better served playing their senior years and getting their degrees.
