Dueling Kiffins

Lane and Monte Kiffin disagreed with each other about whether Georgia Tech is similar in offensive scheme to Oregon.

“It’s like playing Oregon,” Lane Kiffin said.

When Monte Kiffin was asked if Georgia Tech was similar to Oregon, he said “not really.”

fit on torgan! What a year, what a team, what a coaching staff!

  • Since Monte has no idea how to stop a college offense and Lanie has no idea what defense is, USC is in trouble tomorrow.

Kiffin Jr may be speaking about the 62 points he expects Dad’s defense to give up tomorrow.

Maybe Scott could try getting the quote right –

”It’s very difficult (to prepare for),” Kiffin said of Tech’s offense. ”Luckily, we had a month to prepare for it. I don’t know how people do it in a week. It took us a week to get the (scout) team to play them. It’s different. In a weird way, it’s like playing Oregon. There are not a lot of plays being run, but they’re so good at it.”
