Future Trojans Meet On Field

During the first possession of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, future USC defensive lineman Kenny Bigelow sacked future quarterback Max Browne.

Meanwhile, now that Leon McQuay committed, I’m guessing safety Tahaan Goodman is no longer a USC target. I’ve always considered him one of the best players in Southern California, so that’s too bad. Sounds like he will go to UCLA.

UPDATED: Goodman made five tackles in the game.

  1. You should be happy Wolfbag, Goodmans going to your favorite school. You silly fart smeller.

  2. McQuay>>>>>Goodman

You are such a pessimistic shit. Don’t talk about McQuay and how great he is, talk about a kid we can’t take because of BS sanctions. Go die.

  3. Read today that De La Salle football coach(Bob Ladouceur) is retiring, From 1992 to 2004 they won 151 straight games,WOW!

    • Yes, he is. He’s a legend up here in the Bay Area. His teams for the most part didn’t have monster kids but they had great chemistry and were fundamentally as sound as they possibly can be. He had many opportunities to coach in college but turned them down. He’ll be missed.

      • I live in Las Vegas and watched them beat a very good, nationally ranked, Bishop Gorman team on ESPN

  4. Just like DAT….you guy’s didn’t want him either! With the limited # of rides, You’re better off bringing in another couple Receivers, or maybe another couple of ineffective over rated Quarterbacks. Don’t worry about the “O” line…the problem will just go away!
SUCks…Number ONE (1) to UN!!!!!! (what’s with you guys and UN???? Unfinished Business, UN-ranked at the end of the season, UNder inflated balls, UNder no circumstances fire GoatBoy, UNder Haden U Own Water Polo!)
What ever happened to that “OUR 75” BOZO????
    fit on LIMBO U!!!

    • Sorry ucla owns gymnastics. Remember John Woodens pyramid of success forgot to mention paying off players. Now where is my Sam Gilbert bobblehead.

    • You keep saying the same fucking shit, that’s all water under the bridge, 2012 season is FINISHED!!!!

Dr. T Bone might be able to help you with your delusions. perhaps a couple shots of Toradol

    • Dumbass, maybe you didn’t notice but 2 of the starting OL including K Rodgers who dominated are commited to USC. This is a great class. We can’t get everyone we want, but we consistatly have top ranked classes. 2 in the last 14? Yeah!

    • And you guys have needs at CB. Preferably, 2 guys that will get pass interference and give up touchdowns as frequent as Hester / Price.

  5. Browne’s TD pass was scored on Jalen Ramsey although Ramsey did have good coverage on the play. It was a nice pass and a nice catch. I have to say, Browne has a lot of confidence and carries himself quite well. He is a very, very well spoken young man.

  6. We need to make room for Goodman…Cravens can play LB with McQuay and Goodman at Safeties..these guys are all playmakers..

    • good point, hope it happens. I get all tingley when we take a recruit and jucla doesn’t get him. Mora still going to San Diego?

    • Goodman has always planned on joining Willis and Johnson at UCLA. EV will be a nice addition too. SC’s class will be great, but it doesn’t really matter – Lane went 7-6 with one of the most talented teams in football.

  7. This is an example of Scott coming off as a little petty.

I read that Goodman was interested in USC, and was actively recruited. I read somewhere that HIS interest had waned, and also that he might want to attend the same college as Priest Willis.

Pretty clearly, USC should now concentrate on Vanderdoes and/or his replacement, Falah and/or his replacement, and Ramsey and/or his replacement. Goodman is now a “seriously want”, not a “really need” recruit.

I like Scott and dislike Kiffin, but one must live in the realm of the possible. No recruiter can control everything. At the moment, USC has as many “top 100 guys” as Alabama, and you can’t ask for much more than that, really—IF positions of need are being filled.
