  1. good luck to the young man and best wishes USC is not for everyone I hope you finds the right school for him

    • Silly Trogan. SC was his DREAM school. He committed a year ago and Lane waited until after the AA game to tell him not to show up.

    • What kind of A$$Hole are you…99% or 100%. SC is not for everyone? Really? 1 and 5 to finish the season? #1 to UN(ranked). Stupid comments (IGNANT) at the Sun Bowl? Under inflated Balls? You are obviously right….FITTS deserves so much better than GOAT BOY and all the embarrassment that made the 2012 Season so memorable. Hey…at least you’ve got those GREAT DRAPES and SUCks Basketball. Fit on…The tradition continues at good old LIMBO U!

      • Internet tuff guy. What did a SC guy lay your girlfriend back in school? Or maybe you boss who graduated from SC in banging your wife.

  2. Vhat?? No wenom or hate schpeak yet againscht zis lad for Decommitink?

Zis in not zee normal rrresponse!!

What was zhat? “Give it a vhile” ??

    AH! AH! AH!

Zis is zee beginnink of zee end for zee Number Vun recruitink class??

OH NO!! From Vun to Un again!!!!

    AH! AH! AH!

  3. Wish him the best, thought he was a fairly solid commit. Hope this isn’t a sign of bad things to come. If this were a glass half-full kind of scenario for SC, maybe they end up flipping somebody like Lawson, or are anticipating Mathew Thomas committing. But they need more O-Linemen anyway, kind of a log-jam at DE (Breslin, Kennard, Tavai, Hatcher, Townsend, and possibly Williams/Bigelow depending on philosophy) and DT (Uko, Williams, Bigelow, Woods, Heyward, and possibly Vanderdoes).

I hate this period of recruiting. Let’s just get the pre-commit drama over with!

  4. You can never have too many D-linemen… for God’s sake, doesn’t anyone get it?????????? Defense wins championships and I think the last 7-of them prove this point… not some “lane-brain” who thinks his offensive playcalling will outscore the other side. Would any of our current D-linemen crack Alabama’s 1st string? Even if Kylie didn’t play on the field, would he be better on the scout team than some walk on?

  5. Dudes who think Jesus is leading them around are dumb asses. The stupid prayers in the end zone before games this year didn’t help one bit. The pointing a finger in the air after a TD or big play is a 15 yard penalty. Seriously.

    • It’s not how your life goes that matters, it’s where you go in the after life. God is waiting for you, just call Him.

        • Well, funny thing is that there’s no news to discuss. No scandals, no coaches in need of hiring, no burning recruits. Just a very solid, top-10 class coming in. So, in other words, no, there’s no need for me to go read about the Bruins – all the fun is over here!

  6. Lane bumped him for McQuay. Simple as that. Taking a OOS kid for a local kid who bleeds SC is a huge mistake. Lane further digging his own grave.

    • I just heard that as well. The APR factrors in, but McQuay would not enroll unless he was an EE, so Kiffin bumped Fitts.

You do not buimp local kids with an OOS.

  7. Funny thing about this one is that Lane has always said he knows an SC kid when he seen one. Fitts was the epitome of an SC kid and did everything SC asked him to do all the way. This is a HUGE pr mess for Lane now. Crush kids’ dreams ON!

    • Could be that he thinks Fitts might still be willing to stick with the Trojans, even if he’s bumped to Fall. Probably no chance with McQuay. Not very interesting though, right Sped? Who cares? Am I right, you loser?

      • yes, sure, they think Fitts will stick around for another 5 months despite already graduating and getting the “see you in a few days” from the staff last weekend. Sure, that’s the sort of arrogance that defines Lane. It’s also the sort of arrogance that is killing SUC’s program. Laugh ON!

        • Seems like the kid got some good advice to keep SC dangling until he gets almost any other offer. Smart boy. I’m curious to know if Kiffin did this to any other kids but they haven’t cut bait(?)

      • Fitts won’t wait around and “HOPE” he gets picked up in June after getting screwed once by Goat Boy.. The saying goes something like… “Screw me once, shame on you,…Screw me twice, shame on me”. GoatBoy is a cross eyed sleazebag.
        fit on torgans!

  8. I have read that this is an APR, meaning that if the enrolls early he will count against the APR. This si because a few seniors aren’t graduating on time, or at least when USC/Kiffin thought they would.

This is a problem with EE’s, but in world of 85 schollies, it rarely is an issue. Kiffin has been very aggressive in using EE’s to get kids up to playing speed by Fall practice. It is part of his “plan” to get around the sanctions. However, has he been too aggressive with telling kids they could be EE’s by overestimating the number of senior who would graduate? What did he tell Fitts? Before he committed and today? And why Fitts, why not Hawkins or Browne? And is this another Kiffin truth issue?

We will never know since Scott refuses to practice journalism. And the pay sites are too comprimised to allow anything but spin and Kiffin’s lies to rule the day.

  9. This is turning out to be a nightmare of a year. USC, Lane Kiffin, Lakers, Angels…

  10. Maybe Jesus will point him to ND, they did so well last night. Sorry, not going to lose sleep over a kid who has to have Jesus tell him where to go, just got through with a QB who had the same deal, he was great wasn’t he ? And the Dodgers have a first baseman who when with the Red Sox said after they lost to the Tampa Rays on the last day of the regular season to miss the playoffs ” If God wanted us to win, we would have. ” Uh, yeah.

Go find a 3 star kid who wants to play his ass off for 60 minutes and wants to be a Trojan.

  11. I’m not going to lie here…I’m a really embarrassed Trojan alum these days. It’s not just the play on the field, although it was a disappointment this year that Barkley and McDonald couldn’t go out the way they wanted. More disappointing is what I perceive to be deplorable behavior by telling a high school senior, who already accepted his scholarship offer AND GRADUATED EARLY FROM HIGH SCHOOL TO GO TO USC, and was told DAYS BEFORE SHOWING UP TO CAMPUS that he can no longer come early, and just wait until June.
That’s the same thing as you getting a job offer, you move out to the new location and you’re getting ready to show up to work on Monday, but the Friday afternoon before they tell you to wait 6 months and come to work then.
Really, USC??? This, plus the deflated footballs, switching jersey numbers, keeping the media temporarily out of practices…I liked it in the early 90s when we SUCKED in football but the program apparently had more integrity. I want to support you, Lane Kiffin, but you’re making it increasingly more difficult for me to find excuses to do so.

    • If that is what happened that is terrible. The kid can’t go back to high school now.

  12. And this here folks is what I was talking about when in a previous blog I posted that more bad news were coming by today. What’s worse is that there are credible rumblings about more key decommits and players reneging on verbal commitments through national signing day. It’s gonna be a long January…

  13. I am usually not one to rub it in but Peter Carroll and Norman Chow would never let such shennanigans like this take place. You would NEVER see coaches at UCLA disrespecting kids like this either. But that’s because we’re the #1 school in LA, as you know after we kicked your buts 44-28 last month.

  14. Come on, Scott, let’s make this fun.

Call Pat Haden on the phone. If he takes the call or calls you back, ask for his comment on not letting Fitts enroll early on one day’s notice. I’m so curious to see: (1) whether he could come speak to you; and (2) what he would say if he you asked him that?

Am I the only one who would like to read that story?
