USC used to tell recruits they could only receive a scholarship if they graduated early because it needed to save Signing Day scholarships for the best players.
Now the opposite occurred as it needed to tell a player to wait till June to enroll. This was always a danger from getting so many early commitments.
The question is whether Fitts can be convinced to remain a Trojan or if he is too upset and will go elsewhere. UCLA and Washington seem particularly eager to take him. And will USC have a February scholarship for Fitts if he waits to decide?
