Beware Oct. 13 When USC Plays Arizona

USC finally gave in to Larry Scott and allowed a Thursday night home game on Oct. 13 against Arizona. Parking and traffic will be problems even if USC gives staff or students the day off.

USC previously said it wanted to only play a weekday game on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Oh well.

  1. Scott what is going on with Robeys decision to declare or stay? I thought he was supposed to announce a week after bowl game. Also when is the d coordinator going to be announced

  2. Definitely gonna be a problem on 10/13. Rich Rod will be dialed in to Kiffin, the crowd will be late arriving not too fired up, and a Thur. On the road to Corvalis on a Friday will make OSU even harder to beat. 12:30 starts seem to give SC trouble as well. I predict they start 4-0, feeling good, struggle with both AZ teams and ND, could be 5-2 or 4-3, get a win with Utah, lose to OSU, beat Cal, lose again to Stanford, beat Col, 7-4 or 6-5 going into the UCLA game. All depends on what other head coaches stay or go, Kiffin gets a good DC and gets it together.

  3. It doesn’t matter USC will go 7-7 next year, extra game because we play in Hawaii, and another lost in the Sun Bowl.

    • Hunger Bowl loss more like it. At least maybe we’ll get a grown up coach a year from now.

  4. This proves that Mike Rae’s caddy doesn’t have the balls to stand up to Larry Scott or fire the offensive coordinator.

  5. Having a Thursday and Friday game this year doesn’t make much since for USC. Hope they are not on the worthless PAC12 channel nobody gets.

  6. WTF, Wolfman. Do you own or have access to a calender? My 8 y.o. could look at a calender. We are USC, we should not be playing on Thursdays or Friday nights, real programs play on Saturday.
