Sept. 7 — Washington State
Sept. 14 — Boston College
Sept. 21 — Utah State
Sept. 28 — at Arizona State
Oct. 10 (Th.) — Arizona
Oct. 19– at Notre Dame
Oct. 26– Utah (Trojan Family Weekend)
Nov. 1 (Fr.) — at Oregon State
Nov. 9– at California
Nov. 16– Stanford (Homecoming/Reunion Weekend)
Nov. 23– at Colorado
Nov. 30– UCLA
That’s as easy a schedule as we’ll ever get.
That’s what was said about the 2012 schedule, how did that play out ?
If we don’t win 10 games with that schedule Kiffin should be fired…no Oregon or Sark to worry about.

Looks like a favorable schedule…if we get a real oc and dc I can see us going 10-3 again even with 5 freshman starting including at qb. Or most likely 9-4.

Seriously, the wisdom of the other boards think the upside of being hired as DC is that you’re likely in line to be the next HC of SC.
I guess it doesn’t make the job attractive to someone who want to be “just a DC” for years.

It all depends on QB play. I’m not going to kid myself into thinking that Booty-quality of QB play will be good enough. Our o-line, running game, and defense is a shell of those years.
Wittek or Browne need to at least equal Barkley’s 2010/2012 play. No way do either come close to his 2011 season.
That’s got 5-6 loses on it, count on it. You all thought SC would run the table this year, next season will be a disaster. 8-5, 7-6 and Kiffin will still have a job.

Utah state is a lot better now.
Utah State won there bowl game this year.
Both Arizona schools, Oregon State, Notre Dame, Stanford, and UCLA are all very good potential loses. Utah State is not an easy team. We have Kiffin same results as last year. It doesn’t matter how good the kids are we bring in, they need good coaching.
