Recruiting is coming down to the wire. USC looks like it is getting linebacker Quinton Powell.

What is the latest on defensive tackle Eddie Vanderdoes and Kylie Fitts?

“Everything I’ve heard on Vanderdoes is UCLA. I could be getting thrown off here but that’s what I’m getting,” Rivals.com West Coast analyst Adam Gorney said today in a live chat.

But what about Eddie Vanderdoes’ sister?

The Rivals chat also predicted defensive end Kylie Fitts would go to UCLA.

    Only Vandirdoes knows where he will end up, but Coach Kiffin’s lack of control, lack of professionalism, and the shenanigans he created and continues to create really hurt what couldve been a solid recruiting class that included badly needed O Line prospects. Fiits is almost sure to flip over to Westwood (can’t completely blame him after Kiffin, Haden, McKay, and Orgeron fumbled it & decided to put him out and to go with L. McQuay instead).
    It’s great to have so many 5* but disappointing to not get areas of need taken care of. Depth issues will cost Kiffin a few more games next season…wouldn’t surprise me if he goes 7-6 next season, or 8-5 if he’s lucky.

    Would love to see us get a couple more linebackers now we are running a 3-4 defense.

      I don’t see EV being a main priority for SC any more. Like you I see the LB position more important. EV doesn’t want to come to SC because he won’t start. Kennard and Breslin will be there when SC plays a 4-3 and one will sit in a 3-4. So EV would be behind that and that’s if he can beat out Townsend and the others including Prevot. EV ego will take him elsewhere so he could play right away. UCLA can have him and Fitts, SC leftovers.

          He won’t start over Kennard or Breslin so he is still on the bench or red-shirting. He wants to start as a freshman and USC is not guaranteeing it.
          And why are you guys still on our site, is your site still talking about your school’s number one sport basketball? Have they fired Howland yet?

        You seem like an intelligent guy. You’ve shared on here how you have built up your financial portfolio, and have done well with your assets. That’s commendable. In contrast, it just comes off as sophomoric when you say, “You are an idiot” to every single thing a UCLA person writes on this blog. Some UCLA fans actually do contribute intelligently to this blog–as do some USC fans to the Inside UCLA blog. The fact that you may not want us here does not automatically render what we have to say as idiotic. You do get that, right?

    According to the OC Register, SC has enrolled/signed/commitment from, 3 DL, 2 CB, 2 S, 2 OL, 1 LB, 1 QB, 1 RB. They are targeting 2 DL (Fitts and Vander) and 2 LB. Getting the 2 LBs would seem a need and another OL maybe. The DL seems not as needed. How many can they sign? Isn’t 15 the max? How many returning players have scholies to not go over 75?
