Right, but remember–Haden says he “sees the future and it is bright.” Don’t question the Rhodes Scholar because “nobody loves his alma mater more” than he does–he loves it more than us regular two-armed, two-legged inferiors.

Not quite. It may be “bright”, but so far it’s been pretty “dim” under Haden. Both on the field (all sports) and in the department.

I was joking. When people questioned his decision to keep Lane, he said something like “no, people can’t see the future like I can and I know it’s bright.” In other words, he can’t handle any criticism.

At least the same number of NCs as before…didn’t. And at least one more OR get a good baseball coach, basketball coach, women’s BB coach. Solidify the department. Scott is right, there is something wrong up there. PH should also have put up more of a fight with the NCAA .

Uhh let’s see well we’re better because our AD isn’t sneering at an oversight board that can and did torpedo our football program. We’re better because our academic mgmt. is no longer afraid of an arrogant AD who alienated everyone he encountered. Best of all Darryl Gross got out with his reputation intact because it was he who made the coacing moves that you big boy assume were Garrett’s.

Imagine being in OK this time of year and still more the middle of nowhere. Oh how the mighty have fallen – good riddance to bad news Mike Garrett.

Garrett fired Gillespie which got us Krueter which got us Cruz. Garrett hired Bibby, Floyd, Majerus which got us nowhere. He hired Kiffin. MG was a F up and don’t tell me about the H20 coach, he was here and fell in his lap, Garrett doesn’t even know what water polo is.

Both of you are wrong. First, you don’t like Mike because he could care less about you two and many other fans/alums. Second, Gillespie SHOULD have been fired. He hadn’t done crap in years. Gillespie IS the reason we got Krueter. If you have any inside sources you’d know. MG would NOT have put up with Kiff’s crap OR the Locker room crap. PERIOD. Mike loved Yovan. You honestly don’t know what you are talking about. Funny, NOW it’s MG that made all the bad hires and yet gets NO credit for Pete. If you don’t think MG got advice before hiring Floyd, Bibby, etc., you’re crazy. Finally, SC is NOT a better place without Garrett OR Sample.
