USC v. UCLA

Seems like a good time to ask the following question: Who will win more football games next season, USC or UCLA?

  1. I think usc fans would be further deluding themselves to think that their ragtag rubbish of a football “program” and subpar university can win more games this year than The Mighty Bruins.

    UCLA owns usc!

  2. thanks again, wolfman, for this gladiator style match up!!!

    now, let get to work!!!

lets see, trOXan baseball and basketball have interim coaches while these sports languish in the nether regions of the Pac12 standings.

football is a joke with players, coaches and now readers beating each other up!!! total shambles!!!

Bruins: riding high in all 3 major sports!!!

oh i am starting to get TIIIIIIIIIIINGLY!!!!!!!

    and i mean ALL OVER ; )

    • Oh yeah here’s the bunkmate of the first one, another mare’s behind that now gets to nuzzle his backend – two pathetic trolls who still can’t explain dropping those last two games that defined their ‘return to glory’….bruins….losers…..bel-airians….yugo liberals….(snicker)

  3. Bruin fans are the equivalent of Boston (any team) fans – everyone hates them as a:

    1. relative
    2. neighbor
    3. having to work with
    4. stuck next to on a long plane, bus, train trip

    5. in a bar
    6. or this back end of a horse called ‘wannabe soul’ – truly the ‘whitest of whitebread’

wherever and whenever they show up you know you’re in for a long boring time. Tales of ‘we almost…’ ‘the ref screwed us….’ ‘man we fought back but…..’ ‘then one year we DID win…..’

    • You are such a horrible representative of USC, with your bizarre, out-of-touch-with-reality comments. Just stop posting now. And yes, I’m a USC fan.

      • hey roadrunner time to ‘log off’ with your faux decorum id and on with your ‘bel-airian’ one.

        I love you man….I honestly love you…..(snicker)

        • SC class of ’93 Ruso. Cardinal and Gold all the way through. Did you even go to SC, because you really are an embarrassment to the school.

          • Yes I did BTW keep interacting with these two who do nothing but rip the school. They’re akin to demokwats and expect such as you to act like the typical milquetoast republicans i.e. say nothing just allow them to mock the school. It’s what such as you are so skilled at doing – ‘get along’ with this ilk? No how about you manning up and hitting back

    • I guess this knucklehead has ALREADY forgotten about “Adventures with the IFFEN’S”…..Iffen Barkley hadn’t thrown that incompletion”, …or Iffen we didn’t fumble….or the best one of alllllllllllll time!!!!!!!…..Iffen the The OFFICIAL WOULD HAVE STARTED THE GAME CLOCK…..iffen you wouldn’t have lost SIX (6) games last season, you would still be ranked #! instead of UN!!!!!!
      fit on torgan!

  4. If both teams play to their capability, it should be very similar. UCLA should lose @ Nebraska, @ Stanford, and @ Oregon. ASU could also be tough, but I think Arizona will take a step back after losing Scott at QB. USC should lose @ Notre Dame, @ Oregon St, and Stanford. @ ASU will also be a tough game. Both teams could lose to a non-BCS conference team with Nevada against the Bruins and Utah State vs USC, but these losses would be big disappointments. So it could come down to the game in the Coliseum for who ends up with more losses.

    • Congrats on the only post with a rational analysis and assessment. SC will struggle with a rookie QB, similar to Barkley’s first year. 7-6 or 8-5 seems likely, an embarrassing loss would likely seal Kiffin’s fate. Utah St, that would be bad. The 11/30/13 game could decide who’s bowl eligible.

          • That is true, especially with Lane as OC working with a true freshman at QB and no seasoned depth at DB.

          • Agreed, except I may be an optimist about the DBs. I think Pendergast won’t have the CBs give up 8 yards, and they may actually lay a hand on the receivers as the go out for a pass. Also Bailey at one safety, and the 2 incoming stud freshmen should be good at the safety spots. Of course all this is moot if Torin Harris plays.

  5. I love golf. Former UCLA golfer John Merrick won his first PGA Tour event Sunday, taking the Northern Trust Open at the Riviera Country Club in a playoff.

The former Pac-10 champion and All-American finished at 11-under par, beating 28-year-old Charlie Beljan. Merrick, a Long Beach native, is the first player from Los Angeles County to win the tournament. He joined UCLA Hall of Famer Corey Pavin as the only Bruins to do so.

  7. I can’t take this question seriously.

Will there be a second voice in offensive strategy?

The CB situation could get dire, but will it?

Will the OL improve at all, and if so, how?

Browne looks too fragile to play college football in 2013. Wittek has long been kind of streaky. Kessler remains a mystery, although highly regarded by some analysts in high school. Leinart seemed to emerge fully formed out of nowhere.

With the small roster, a couple inopportune injuries could wreck havoc.

What is the basis to forecast the season record? I don’t get it.

  8. 35 comments now on a post about nothing. And you donkey trogies keep asking why Wolfie posts entries on his blog like this. LOL.

    • OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH!

and Sped leads off the day with humiliating kick to the trOXans crotch!!! dead on CORRECT, SPED!!!!

amazing how some Dummies are already waiting in line for their daily kick in the crotch isn’t it??? v v v v

      • If Bucket ever got kicked in the crotch he would feel no pain. He has shown he has no balls by refusing to back his beloved mighty Bruins against lowly USC in a wager on Sundays basketball game.

        • Jezro, you KNOW that i INVENTED the loser leaves town wageraround here!!! normally i would say it’s GO TIME!!! but i must abide by the directive of the Cadre Executive Council who has determined this is nothing but
a strategic ploy by the Nabobs to strap a bomb to one of their lowly PFC’s in order to take out El Generalissimo!!!

if you lose, no biggie, but then who will they wheel out of retirement next? freethinker?? Retired Bill?? no i agree with the Cadre Executive Council on this…read our lips: WE WILL NOT NEGOTIATE WITH TERRORISTS!!!!

          • Either that or you have no confidence in the Bruins against “Fig Tech” in basketball of all things.
I hear you had the #1 rated recruiting class.

          • Attention Whores and stalkers are always focused on the task at hand (it’s really all about “THEM”) and will say just about anything to justify their existence. Don’t negotiate with terrorists and pay no attention to attention whores.
            Ignore ’em, and fit on!

          • That’s cute Thai!!!! And at 2AM!!!

You don’t possess the balls to back UCLA basketball either, huh?

          • Thai, the Cadre will not sanction any Loser Leaves Town wager involving a member of the Executive Council!!!

Jethro take your kooky fatwa somewhere else!!!

besides, did the Japanese, sit down, and have dinner, with Pearl Harbor… before they bombed ’em???

            fellas, let’s go!!

          • So what you’re saying is you don’t have the confidence to back mighty UCLA against lowly USC in basketball so all you can do is post your usual nonsense over and over again but not stand behind it.
            BTW, Jim Healy was overrated

          • Jezro, you are BUSTED!! i have cracked the case!!! I contend that you are TRYING to get yourself banned from this BLOG!! you are tired of the new LOWER echelon of trOXans who now inhabit wolf’s once illustrious readership!!! so, rather than admit this painful fact to yourself, you are trying to RIG the game so as to facilitate your own forced exit!!!

Jezro you have taken on that wild eyed i got nothin’ to lose attitude lately, it all fits!!! did you recently get “born to lose” tattooed onto your arm?? did you throw your watch out the window?? we’re not gona help you commit “suicide by cadre”!!! forget it!!!!

oh, Chucker-Bucker, you’ve done it AGAIN!!!

          • Bucket,

I’ll give you this: You have come up with a lot of different ways to say “No, I don’t have any confidence that UCLA will beat USC in basketball on Sunday”

          • Nothing but a fuking idiot, we all continue to laugh at your pathetic a$$

Why you hang out on this site 24/7, it’s creeeeepy!

  9. UCLA Has the more difficult schedule, however I think UCLA will have three more wins than SC.
