USC v. UCLA

In today’s question, who is a better offensive line coach? New hire Mike Summers or Bruins assistant Adrian Klemm?

  1. When is your next open forum so i can tear you a new asshole over your bs coverage on the Polamalu/Kiffin “feud”?

  2. Even I can admit that Klemm blows Summers out of the water in terms of technique and recruiting…didn’t Klemm just win an award for best recruiter in the Pac 12? Or was that another Bruins coach?
I’m not impressed with Kiffin’s hires so far at all. Sorry, just being honest cause when you promise that you will put the best coaching staff in the US together, you fire your most capable and passionate coach, then you go out and hire retreads that fans and Haden would balk at as your replacements (if he had the huevos to fire you), then you are simply hoping for success while ensuring mediocrity for at least another year…and that, my friends, is the definition of bs.

  3. Well once again the bel-airians are looking up….

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Roughly 3,500 U.S. colleges and universities
raised a total of $31 billion in the 2012 fiscal year, according to an
annual college fundraising survey by the Council for Aid to Education in
    New York.

Here are the top 10 fundraising campuses:
    1. Stanford University, Stanford, Calif. — $1.035 billion
    2. Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass. — $650 million
    3. Yale University, New Haven, Conn. — $544 million
    4. University of Southern California, Los Angeles — $492 million
    5. Columbia University, New York — $490 million
    6. Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore — $480 million
    7. University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia — $441 million
    8. University of California-Berkeley, Berkeley, Calif. — $405 million
9 New York University, New York — $396 million
    10. Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Mass. — $379 million

    • What I love about the Communist’s reporting is that he picks one year to try to prove that USC has better fund-raising than UCLA. But wait! Though USC beat UCLA in ’12, UCLA beat USC in ’11:

      8. UCLA
      — ($415 million)
      — 21.9% increase over 2010

      10. USC
      — ($402.4 million)
      — 5.5% decrease from 2010

Let me guess, comrade, you were a journalism major. Nice try, dude.

      • You managed to take an irrelevant post, and somehow post something even less relevant.

Congrats, UCLA fundraised as much as USC last year – USC beat UCLA 50-0 last year.

  4. Better topic:

    Who is the better journalist?

Jack Wang covering UCLA or Scott Wolf covering USC.

Wang/UCLA. Don’t think there is much of an argument.

    • I’ll take WOLF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HANDS DOWN! U wanna trade? I’ll also toss in a meant conditioned 1977 Daihatsu Charade for your troubles……

    • Not a hater of Jack, but the previous guy, Miguel, was way more in-depth in his reporting. So, we are talking “predictable reporter” Jack Wang v nerd-turned-wanna-be-journalist Scott Wolf. Toss up.

    • Wolf actually gets hits and page views, Jack Wang doesn’t. I used to get relevant info sometimes from Miguel Melendez when he was at InsideUCLA, no offense, but Jack Wang’s coverage blows chunks and tiddlywinks. I bet most UCLA fans wouldn’t be coming to this page for even a smidgen of info/entertainment if they had a better, more interesting writer over there. While Scott Wolf may not be the best reporter, he is doing what the slimy, inept management of the Daily News wants him to do: get page views and comments.

  5. Why don’t you get off your lazy a$$, and answer the question. We are all eagerly waiting your investigative opinion
