Tomorrow is Selection Sunday and that means after the NCAA makes its picks, the alphabet soup tournaments (NIT, CBI, CIT) pick over the rest of the schools.
What are USC’s chances? First off, the CIT requires teams to have a .500 record and takes non-BCS conference teams. So that leaves the Trojans out. The NIT and CBI do not require a .500 record.
For what it’s worth, the NIT did not take any teams with a losing record last season but the CBI did (Washington State (15-16). So the CBI is probably USC’s best chance, if Pat Haden wants to play in the tournament.
