Bucket, I was on the UCLA campus last night for an MCLE event at the law school, and as I killed a few minutes by walking around the campus, admiring the buildings along that quad in front of Royce, I wondered how many of the Bruin trolls on this blog even went to UCLA.
It occurred to me that, although you have posted here for years, I can’t recall you ever saying much about your time at UCLA. All we get from you is movie references, love for that Healey guy, and posts about kicks to the crotch. Are you, like some posters here, just reluctant to admit that you actually went to Cal State Wherever?
Let’s get down to brass tacks. Did you actually graduate from UCLA? What was your major? Or if it was a grad program, which one?
I was wondering the same thing. I love UCLA’s campus. It is a wonderful academic atmosphere (although I prefer USC because of is size and because it is not so reliant on the voters’ mood to sustain high levels of funding for is academic programs). I love the rivalry between the two schools on everything in LA. And I love it when the Bruins lose. I would been be rather shocked that a sophomoric mind like Chuckles had even been admitted, let alone graduate, from UCLA.

WEB: i do not feel the need to establish any particular credentials for being on wolfman’s blog (my standing in the Cadre is usually enough to get me what i want in this town)
but for old times sake i will indulge your request. yes i attended undergrad at UCLA and graduated. i wont give details of what my major was but i was definitely North Campus (Letters & Science). and i do have interesting story as proof of my having attended: …..as a freshman i lived in Dykstra Hall on Campus (on the hill overlooking tennis center and Pauley) and lived down in the basement floor (or Dungeon as we called it). at the time only guys could live down there. when i got there, i noticed one of the desks in my room was partially cut out leaving a gap. when i asked what that was about, a grizzled old janitor explained that Kareem used to live down in the dungeon when he was at UCLA….he was very shy as you know and they put him down there so he could basically avoid the crowds. this floor also had a private entry out so he didn’t even have to go thru the lobby like at most dorms. the gap in the desk was where they had to cut out the desk so his
extended bed could fit in. i later in confirmed in one of Kareem’s books he lived down there for the reasons stated.
so you could say, which i’m sure will delight the Dummies around here, that i shared a bed with Kareem.

As I mentioned here several times, I have plenty of friends who attended UCLA and I always end up having a drink or 2 with some random Bruin before the yearly rivalry game.
NONE of them fit the personality of the trolls that visit here.
Word on the street, buckets only ties to UCLA was as a former janitor. He lacked the skill set to perform the job properly and was terminated rather quickly. There’s a part of him that will not let go

As I have contended all along, Bucket never got close to UCLA. He is merely a USC antagonist due to some issue that he experienced. Most likely, he was refused admission or some sorority gal laughed at him when he asked her out. No one would spend this much time on a competitive blog without some serious psychological damage having been done in the past.
