Some Quick Practice Hits

Freshman QB Max Browne had his best practice of the spring, according to Lane Kiffin. Browne completed a 65-yard yard pass to WR George Farmer, albeit against a walk-on defensive back.

Tailback Justin Davis was named the practice MVP after a strong performance. Kiffin also complimented linebacker Hayes Pullard for taking over a role as team leader.

“It goes back to the bowl practices, he made a decision that this was going to be his defense,” Kiffin said. “He became more vocal.”

  1. Time to get that Heisman Publicity Wagon on the move? Looks like Brownie is having an All Star like day (vs The Walk Ons!). I don’t know who’s more impressive…Brownie or George (I’ve got a Hangnail) Farmer for beating a Walk on. Maybe all those new coaches are REALLY gonna elevate the level of Play?
Torgan Football, there’s nothing quite like it!
    fit on Women Punchers!

      • Mighty nice of you to ask. Everything is just PEACHY over here. Happy Easter to you and yours.
        fit on!

          • JGS….why do you act so CREEPY! We at the Cadre are good Christians and believe in forgiveness, however your “creepy-ness” is often a little too much for most of us. Why not just say/post something nice and let it go. You think way too much (or don’t think at all).

            fit on torgan!

          • What’d I say to upset you? I was just making conversation among some of the regular contributors here.

          • You forgot,Chuckles’ racial stereotype needs to be angry. That fiery Mexican temperament ya know.

          • Alright, TFail-mily, now you are stooping low and making ignorant, stereotypical comments. I knew a lot of ignorant people like you at USC, and the times have changed but you havent.

      • Aww, little Chuckle Bucket is fussy tonight. He brought out his silly little racial stereotype friend. Did you miss your nap today little Buckeroo?

    • This is what happens when you mistake Wolf for a real reporter, spring practice for fall practice, and sugar pills for your regular meds.

    • DementiaMex and all his insight. Stay on your drug infusions just like the rest of your team.

  2. Is there a You Tube video on Max and George v Walk ons? I want to store it next to the Dillon Baxter run!

  3. you guys are getting ahead of yourselves with your Easter talk today is Good Friday, when we remember the suffering of Robert Woods last season when Kiffin seemed to forget that Woods was on the team

  4. Does Wolf ever watch the practices? Or does he just stop by at the tail end to get quotes? A little insight outside of what Kiffin said would be nice.

Just in case you guys are wondering, here are a few other observations:
    1. Max Turek seems to be moved back at LG after starting spring at center.
    2. Pass protection looks like a concern right now. Or is it simply Pendgast’s new scheme confusing the oline?
    3. Outside of a few receptions on 7 on 7s, I have not seen Tre Madden carry the ball.

    More later 🙂
