During yesterday’s Pro Day, one problem was the new field turf that was installed at Cromwell Field over Christmas Break. The players slipped during the 40-yard dash and during some of the cone drills that required sharp cuts.
“It was not good at all,” defensive end Wes Horton said. “It got uneven.”
Then get invited to the combine!
seems to be missing a final sentence blaming all this on Kiffin
yeah, it was all the turf’s fault.
Couldda–Shouldda-Wouldda!!
Shh. Little Chuckle Bucket. The adults are talking now. Go to your room and play with your Jim Mora action figure.
Sounds like Fucla’s basketball program.
And nobody checked that out ahead of time? Time for new agents and personal trainers.
I think it’s USC’s responsibility to provide a suitable facility for “Pro Day”. As USC knows, many players at USC aspire to the NFL. The players who performed at Pro Day made money for USC that greatly exceeded the scholarship benefits provided by USC. There is no excuse not to provide a facility that would further their football ambitions on this one day of the year when they need it.
I’m sure it wasn’t intentional, but it was negligent. So correct it for the future.
