USC WR George Farmer Tears ACL

The wide receiver injured his knee during today’s practice and was carted off the field. The injury is expected to sideline him for nine months, which means he would miss the 2013 season.

Man, I hate to hear this. This was gonna be his coming out year. Remember, in high school he was the big name receiver that Lee has turned into. Such a sad day. I feel terrible for the kid. Hopefully the training staff can get him going. I fear he will never play a meaningful down for the Trojans.

Snakebit! Hopefully he can comeback after a medical redshirt. Sure feel badly for the kid.. Fight On George.. and keep the faith

Yea, you guys are right. One thing I will say is that this shows you need an education, can’t just rely on football.

    • Good thing he has a redshirt…

It appears George is INJURY PRONE. Too bad for the young man. He’s finished before he even got started.

    Horrible news. Fight on George!

  • MichiganTrojan

I hope he redshirts and is able to play at least 2 seasons for SC. No rest for the weary apparently, or luck. Fight on George, the fan base will have your back.

  • Golden Trojan

Hopefully the time off will allow him to mature physically and get stronger to come back less injury prone. Stay tough George, Fight On!

  • Wolf, how did you know the results of his MRI the day before it was scheduled?
