Athlon Ranks Lane Kiffin No. 11 In List Of Pac-12 Coaches

Last year, Athlon Sports ranked Lane Kiffin No. 2. This year he dropped to No. 11. Can a coach be that good and that bad in a year?

  4. Todd Graham, Arizona State
  5. Mike Leach, Washington State
  6. Mike MacIntyre, Colorado

  • Q: Can a coach be that good and that bad in a year?
A: wolfman you KNOW he can!!! especially after going from ONE to UN!!!!

surely, a historical flop of that magnitude must be RECOGNIZED!!!

truly amazing!!! B-Ball has a historically bad record last season, then Football goes one to UN…man, it must truly TRULY SUCK to be a trOXan!!!!!!

    AH! AH…i mean HAWR-HAWR!!!

    • Swoll Francis

it must truly suck to be the guy everyone thinks is responsible for all the ThaiMex posts

      • ThaiMex’ work stands alone, and his reputation is STERLING in the rough and tumble world of big time Pac12 sports blogging!!!

        • TrojanFan

ThaiMex is a fuking idiot….go put your head back in the whole, the shlt is leaking out

          • ThaiMex

All this DRAMA over little ol’ me?
Surely, you Rah Rah’s have better things to do (yes/no)…..I guess not.
fit on drama queens aka torgans!

          • TrojanFamily

Most of the drama over you involves you exposing yourself to the statue of Traveller than shouting “GAY!” at it when it “refuses” to pleasure you. You then just exclaim “fit on torgan” (torgan being the name of you give your stuffed Traveller doll which you use for your erotic exploits) while DPS politely escorts you off campus.

The fences around campus are the deterrent to you returning, hence your own obsessive anger toward them.

You and your buddy ThaiMex constantly use trOXan and torgan on here. Would you be so kind as to differentiate the two and let us know why each one is an insult.

It’s very confusing and we should know the manner in which we are being mocked.

      • Jezro, that is a legit question! i do agree that under normal circumstances you and perhaps ever the Dummies may deserve help understanding the nature of my crushing blows!!!

unfortunately, you called me a “tool” the other day and i did not appreciate that. also, i will be leaving town in a few days for the extended leave of absence from the wolfman’s blog. so i regret to inform you that you may NEVER know what those two words mean exactly.

        • TrojanFan

“Tool” would be a gross under statement when it comes to describing you….hahaha!!!!!

Can you add a few extensions to the leave of absence, it would be like Christmas in April!

        • Jethro G Sabbath

This could be devastating and we haven’t even addressed the unorthodox capitalization within the two words.

You accuse others of not being cut out for this but I call you a tool or point out that Joe McDonnell is really fat and you cry foul. I really thought you were tougher than that.

P.S. Going out of town is an excuse to shut it down? Don’t worry if your posts show up at all ours of the night, Pacific time. It’s not like that has never happened before.

      • WEB_Dupree

Westwood Rob “invented” troxan with an x. It was intended to be nonsensical. I guess that’s why it caught on.

I suspect that “torgans” evolved from Markeith Ambles’ classic “trogans” tweet, but I think ThaiMex would have to answer that one.

        • Jethro G Sabbath

          I remember Westwood Rob

    • Golden Trojan

We do have Haden starting to build a college sports dynasty! Enfield is the next brick. Give him another year and you will see. Garret wanted pro coaching experience, Haden requires hot wives.

    • TrojanFan

Dude, you sound like a fuking idiot once again. Surprise us with some new material…..challenge yourself

  • marvgoux1

The big surprise is Sark over Mora. Should SC have hired Sark instead of Kiffin?

    • No surprise here. Mora has done zip.

  • Golden Trojan

Hopefully this not an omen for next year. Oregon would be the only team SC could beat and doesn’t get to play them. I assume this is a ranking of coaching skill only and not talent on your team or staff. Kiffin has the talent to carry him over Leach, MacIntyre and Whittingham, but not over Shaw, Riley or Rodriguez.

  • I’d put him #4

  • Bill

Just curious about something. Matt Barkley was a four year starter coached by a self proclaimed offensive genius with an endorsement from Chip Kelly. When preparing for the draft, why did he get assistance from UCLA’s quarterback guru Taylor Mazzone and not Lame Kitten?

Take note of that Maxi Browne!

    • TrojanFan

Bill, the ONLY thing you need to worry about is programming for the cartoon network, keep it simple

  • steveg

You guys all fall for such stupid bs. This is an opinion of one person who works for a site that has to put up this crap in order to exist. It means zip, zero, nada.

  • Cheap seats

Why are they ranking Helfrich so low and he hasn’t even coached a single game yet? I don’t think they’ll miss much of a beat because Kelly’s system is going to remain intact.
