It was a big day for Andy Enfield and his wife, Amanda, who met fans, athletic dept. employees, the basketball team and coaches, the media and finally, USC president Max Nikias.
Enfield said he was not worried about invigorating the students to support basketball.
“When we started at (Florida Gulf Coast), we had 75 students show up,” Enfield said. “Now we have 1,000.” Full story here.
Looks like a “run & gun” style program is about to begin. Paul Westhead must be grinning somewhere. But I’m sure Enfield understands, in any major college sport, defense will determine who wins in the bigger games!
