EJ Manuel – that’s either a tell from NFL Insiders, or he better bring some good reading material, because he should be a 2nd day pick, along with Eric Reid. Barkley is smart not to go. If teams were willing to pick Brandon Weedon in the 1st round last year, I’m betting someone will jump on Barkley this year. He “could make all the throws” coming out of HS through his Junior year in college. Don’t know how he was the number one rated QB in the country coming out of HS, and a projected top 10 pick last year, with a supposed noodle arm. It’s bluster, lovingly embraced by those who look for any reason to dump on SC.
I should be obvious that a mediocre quarterback with excellent line blocking and an exceptional running game looks much better that he really is. I hope Matt signs on with a team that allows him to carry a clip board, since he isn’t much better than either of the last two SC quarterbacks.
