  1. Really excited about TY. He is a big back with solid speed. We haven’t had a running back with that size and power since Aaron Emmanuel. Kid has a great opportunity to learn and be an immediate impact. Fight On!

    • AE wasn’t fast, this kid is more comparable to LenDale White. Robo 2 had a big back with speed but the kid messed around with an agent and got buried in Robo’s doghouse, can’t remember his name.

      • AE was not fast, had stone hands and fumbled too much. But he was 6’2 and 220 pounds, TY is 6’3 and 220, with speed, hands, and agility. LenDale played much bigger than he was and was a power back, but he wasn’t much taller than 6’0. Only big back I can think of with Robo was Rodney Sermons, but injuries kept him back..

        • We have missed a LenDale White type of back around here for some time. I hope Madden becomes a solid short yardage option

  2. Like what I see. Hope his training works in real conditions and he keeps healthy.

  3. He doesn’t look like a burner, but looks pretty agile for such a big guy. If he’s not the next Eddie George, I still like him and Tre Madden in the red zone. By 2014, if you have those guys running behind Simmons, Rodgers and Martin on the interior, with Banner and Tuerk at the Tackles, and Pinner at fullback – they should have a grinding run game. Looking forward to seeing these guys play angry next year!

    • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. If Lanie is still around, there will never be a running game at USC, he is a pass first run last kind of coach, the dunce.

    • I’m most interested in seeing Madden play, after all the hype he got from Kiffin. I just hope another injury doesn’t set him back.

Su’a Cravens is also a guy we are all looking forward to see playing, maybe the second coming of Polamalu

  4. trOXans have always wasted their big backs….especially when they had those great O-Lines….this is why Cheatey would always lose one game a year to big underdog!!!

if Cheatey had pummeled those OR St., Stanford, teams with his big back for 3 Qtrs ike Stephon, Bradford etc, then opened it up later , they might have NEVER lost a game in six years!!!

but nooooo, Cheatey would get caught up in these shootouts with lesser teams and lost games he shouldda never lost if he had pummeled them and controlled the clock.

    • Wrong blog!

I wonder if you even know where you’re at, you seem to be out in left field most of the time
