USC Morning Buzz

It was a long wait for USC QB Matt Barkley but worth it for him when he landed with the Eagles.

“The first time I saw Matt Barkley, he was a true freshman and he came into Autzen Stadium which is one of the toughest places to play in the world and it didn’t faze him a bit,” Eagles coach Chip Kelly said.

Meanwhile, USC tailback Curtis McNeal signed a free-agent contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Linebacker Uona Kaveinga, who started his career at USC but transferred to BYU, signed with the Denver Broncos.
