USC v. UCLA

I don’t care how much promotion Jim Mora did to get fans to the UCLA spring game or if he personally rented buses to bring in people, shouldn’t USC be disturbed that more people went to the Rose Bowl for the Bruins’ spring game (20,000) than the Coliseum for the USC game (15,000)?

And that’s even with the complaints about the cost of parking, food, etc., at the Rose Bowl.

  1. Even during the Carroll hayday, we didnt have 20k people at the spring games. 15k is pretty consistent. 20k is an anomaly. Who cares? The SEC kills both of us.

    • Are you nuts? We had 3000 alone at the daily practices. There’s no way fucla would ever come close to us during to Duhrell and Skippy eras. I hope Pat Haden is aware that fans are voting on the Kiffin Era and the verdict is in.

  2. Wolf, great story…
Do you have a report somewhere or did anyone on earth comment to you stating that “USC was disturbed that more people attended the UCLA spring game than the USC Spring game”
Or is this more great journalism?

  3. I guess you can say Scott, in answer to your question, a headcoach can make a difference in many ways. One of which might be player recruitment, player development, player performance, wins & losses, pro draft picks and… the attendance at a spring football game, that immediately come to mind.

  4. that’s cause we took the city Champeenship by leaving Pious Passer crumpled on the field in defeat!!!

wolfman, people like WINNERS!!! and that means Bruins, not trOXans!!!

  5. Can we move on from Spring Game attendance? I guess after actually giving news items, Scotty had to move back to non-news and beating dead horses

  6. USC should be disturbed that you call yourself a reporter. Scouring the internet for info and reprinting it is not reporting. According to sources.

    • Are you for real? What big scoops are being made on SC football in May?

      • and why would SC care? This isn’t an SC blog, it’s a Daily News blog. SC shouldn’t even have an opinion.

        • ….and no one and this blog gives a shlt what your opinion is……I see a lot of penis envy coming from you

  7. Can’t wait to see the dismal crowd that shows up for the Thursday night Game once the losing starts.

    “Torgans for Life”!
    fit on!

  8. There was a $10 charge for the USC game while free at the Rose Bowl. Believe they had buses to bring people from Westwood to Pasadena.

    • it all the trOXans on this blog think about, they’re OBSESSED!!!

that’s on account of us BRUINS are WINNERS!!!

      AUUUUUU-WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

      • You stupid idiot, confused once again…hahaha!

it’s all the Ruin trolls on this blog think about, especial the 24/7 ones(bucket spudjones), they’re OBSESSED with USC and this blog!!!!!!

that’s on account of us Trojans are WINNERS!!!

        AUUUUUU-WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

        • You’re not a real Trojan. You give all of us real Trojans a bad name with your childish posts. You’re a POSER and a BandwagonFan, TrojanFail.

          Face it.

Geaauuxx Cal Poly Mustangs!!!! (Fight on, bisnitch!)

          • Shlt dude!….how many different handles do you need to post under? YOU’RE the POSER and #1 troll on this blog, plus you give ruin fans a bad name

            Face it!

I see you’re become quite fond of the Mustangs. I might have a old Cal Poly sweater you can have(no white stains)

PS….UCLA is looking for a janitor to maintain the men’s showers. When I heard this your name popped up. It sure beats the swing shift at ampm

      • Ummmm…you’re trolling a USC blog — I don’t see it the other way around.

Just like the Clippers, you guys don’t have “haters”. You need to win in order to achieve hater status. Just look at the ratio of USC haters vs. UCLA haters (if any).

  9. Might want to include that there were a dozen+ players in the country club with injuries, and that there was no tackling in the final spring game for SC. Hey fans, do you want to watch some spirited flag football?!!!!

Come on Scott, these aren’t small points.

And I’ll give UCLA fans some slack here – half of a good season every 10 years may just in fact bring out the masses of fans who can name two or possibly even three players on their beloved powder blue towel wavers. This is gonna be an exciting year for them. It’ll make SC better too, if LK doesn’t get in the way.

  10. c’mon, wolfman, just a few more Pious Passer sweeeet scoooops!!!

you can’t just cut us off COLD TURKEY, man!!!

just a few more humiliating kicks to the trOXans crotch, wolfman!!!

    oh say yes, puh-LEEEEEEEEZ???????

  11. How about some FOOTBALL news once in a while?

Scott seems like a miserable man who wakes up (next to Bucket of course) and finds stuff to complain about.

The SW blog playbook is about imaginative as Kiffin’s Denny’s menu:
    1. Who’s calling the plays
    2. UCLA vs. USC (troll magnet)
    3. Something bad about Barkley (who’s no longer with the team)
    4. Something negative about Kiffin (sometimes unrelated to Kiffin but make a stretch)
