Kicking Game Needs 2013 Improvement

One of the less-discussed problems during the 2012 season was the kicking game.

Kicker Andre Heidari injured his knee in the season-opener against Hawaii and was never 100 percent last season. He made 10 of 16 field goals with a long of just 41 yards. That is far cry from 2011 when he was 15 for 17 with a long of 50 yards and made all 50 extra points.

If Heidari is healthy, the kicking game should be near 2011 form and then Lane Kiffin can focus on important things, like the secondary.
