One-time USC LB Jordan Campbell Signs With Bengals

Campbell transferred from USC nearly three years ago and was actually suspended by Lane Kiffin at the time of his transfer . He was probably better known for being listed as an executive for the sports agency of the USC student that got tailback Dillon Baxter suspended for giving him a ride in a golf cart across campus.

Campbell transferred to Louisville but never actually played there and spent last season at New Mexico Highlands. He was not drafted and signed a free-agent contract with the Bengals.

He is not very good. Got to SC by being supremely physically gifted out of high school and never panned out. Beast in the weight room, not on the field. Surprised he’s with Cinci who has a pretty solid team right now. Don’t see him making it very long unless he’s really improved with his playing time at Highlands…

An 89 yard punt and his wild abandon on punt/kickoff teams might be enough to keep him around.
