USC’s new women’s basketball coach received a verbal commitment tonight from point guard Chyanne Butler of Serra High School. Butler recently transferred after three seasons at St. Bernard.

She averaged 20.5 points, 5.3 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 4.8 steals per game last season.
