Guard DeAndre Kane of Marshall will reportedly transfer to Pittsburgh instead of USC or St. Mary’s. Kane averaged 15.1 points and seven assists last season. But an NBA Eastern Conference executive believed USC is better off saying he had “terrible body language.”

In any event, USC coach Andy Enfield will continue to search for guards. Kane was appealing because he was going to be eligible next season. Kane said he chose Pitt because it was closer to home.
