Remember this Chip Kelly quote heading into last season on Matt Barkley?
“He was the best quarterback we faced (in 2011),” Kelly said.
Kelly faced Andrew Luck in 2011 and obviously isn’t saying Barkley is better than Luck. That’s Steve Sarkisian’s misfortune.
But it probably worries former Arizona QB Nick Foles a bit that Kelly’s given Barkley such an endorsement, even if he waited four rounds to draft him.

Obviously if Kelly said that Barkley was the BEST QB they faced in 2011, and he also played against Luck, then he was saying Barkley was a better QB than Luck, (At least in 2011)
