Dewayne Dedmon On Turning Pro

USC center Dewayne Dedmon is in Chicago for the NBA combine and spoke about his decision to turn pro.

“I talked to all the (USC) coaches, had meetings with all the coaches. At the end of the day, my mind was made up to come out,” Dedmon told Sports Illustrated. “They were good meetings, but I was still unsure about next year’s coaching staff. I wasn’t willing to put myself in jeopardy because of what they would do on the court. Sometimes you get broken promises. You never really know. There is always that little gray area.”

  1. Broken promises at SUCks? Little Gray areas? This is the very same program that brought you “Cheatey”, Goat Boy, and Tim Floyd (the flavor never changes). Yup…you better question INTEGRITY over at LIMBO U or my name is Joe IZUSU. Trust me!
    fit on torgans!

      • What section do you sit in?

I’m assuming you’re a USC season ticket holder. I swear you know more about our program than some die hard fans!

        • LOLOLOL. Glad I visited today. So true… I really hope this geek Bucket is some middle/high school kid. Truly sad if he’s an adult and spends so much time this way.

          • Bucket’s posts are actually more interesting than Wolf’s blog!

I think he has more followers than Wolf!

  2. The clincher was when Dewayne’s defense attorney told him that if he goes pro he doesn’t have to worry about playing in the state of Washington next year and being served with a warrant since the Sonics moved to Oklahoma City.
