    • The former UCLA and Clippers coaches had better seasons than Kiffin and yet Haden tolerates his incompetence.

  1. Perhaps the first time in the history of Doug Gotlieb where he actually says something halfway intelligent.

  2. Again, basketball vs Football, sanctions vs no excuses.. In Haden we Trust!! Blame Garrett and his arrogance…Kiff’s time is coming, either good or bad, but to release him now?? Who would replace a sanctioned team? Did we forget that several inquiries that were sent out to “Big Time Coaches” and ALL quickly dismissed us? Get real people, Change will come, but timing is everything…

  3. Why would USC fans care about “The White Man’s Perspective”? Doug Gottleib has the same amount of football knowledge as Wolfie. Just more low level reporting from Wolfie. What will your agenda be when Kiffin wins the NC? Grow up.

    • Just as Pete Carroll could do no wrong (at least not in Wolfie’s eyes). Lane Kiffin can do no right…….and even in the unlikely event that this years team were to win the NC, despite insurmountable odds, Wolfie would find something to criticize….like the scorpion and the frog in The Crying Game, as they both sink beneath the waves, the frog cries out, “Why did you sting me, Mr. Scorpion? For now we both will drown!” Scorpion replies, “I can’t help it. It’s in my nature!”…..criticism is clearly in Wolf’s nature……

    • Chucker…Rah Hah #1 has spoken…The guy’s on dope. “when kiffen wins the NC” (probably about the same time North Korea Rules the World) hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
      fit on torgans!

      • I hope you’re not the ThaiMex that thinks he is a musician. Prayers that your music career gives you more personal satisfaction than trolling the Inside USC blog everyday. Loser.

  4. The Clippers didn’t fire their coach, they didn’t offer him a new contract. I’m guessing the fired Lakers coach is Mike Brown, which got heavy criticism for being so early in the year, but he never had that team looking good. Both USC and ucla hoops had been stagnant in their own ways, neither was going in the right direction for a few years.

Kiff comes off a great year then provides a year to forget, plenty of reason to let him go, but there are still reasons to keep him if you put everything on the line. There is always the question of if you are going to fire a guy, do you have someone better to replace him with? More than likely there wouldn’t of been someone better to hire this off season.
