Pete Carroll And Jeff Fisher Make $7 Million

Well, that makes Monte Kiffin’s $2 million salary last season seem a little less out of order. Just kidding. Carroll and Fisher are tied for fourth in the Forbes list of highest-paid sports coaches in the United States.

No. 1 is New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton, who makes $8 million to not coach.

  1. PC was making what, about 3.5 million his last season at USC? With the raising of coaching salaries since then and with what USC is reportedly greatly overpaying its AD, $7 million would have been doable keeping in PC and keeping out LK!

    • Now don’t be so negative on GoatBoy, its a sore subject here among the RAH RAH’s. They like to focus on the positive (he’s young, he’s got a hot wife, he makes a lot of money), besides, the rest of the Pac 12 is thrilled that GoatBoy will be around for at least one more season before becoming UN (employed).
      Fit Un Torgans!

      • Talking about goatboy… has “fatboy” in your AD office gone of a diet yet? Seems he has a pretty hard time pushing the plate away at the dinner table. What a role model he is!

      • Nope. Trolls feed on attention. I actually used to find “The Cadre” quite amusing, but have grown weary of the schtick. Here’s hoping they can come up with something new lest they become invisible on this blog. I’d rather laugh at their antics than consider them an annoyance.

That said, I don’t have the creativity for trolling and find that sports blogs are more enjoyable when sports are discussed in a civil fashion.

        • I tried trolling the UCLA side once. It was awful. I guess not everyone can take enjoyment on celebrating the misfortune of others.
