Who Says USC Is A Water Polo School?

It is a golf school today. Freshman Annie Park’s 67 helped USC shoot an NCAA-record 276 in the second round of the NCAA women’s golf championships at Athens, Ga. USC is a comfortable 12 shots ahead of Alabama.

At least USC can beat Alabama at something, right? There are still two rounds left. USC A.D. Pat Haden is a big golfer so this would be an NCAA titile he would cherish.

  1. Luckily Haden had nothing to do with hiring the women golf coach or the water polo coach for both genders. Haden is so big on women soccer yet not a word on the mediocre and less job by Ali K. the last few years. Where was Haden on Tuesday at the Coaches Tour in Manhattan Beach? It was pretty much assumed that Cynthia Cooper would be there to promote women basketball with her being a no show. It is interesting that Max Wittek comes to each Tour date so far while Cody Kessler is not there while Kiffin claims the QB race is a three way battle.

  2. Not me.

Pat Haden has his head in the clouds. If the men’s golf team wins the championship, Haden will be so elated he just might just axe the football program.

  3. way to go trOXan young ladies!!!! looks like you gals have racked up a Natty for the school’s impressive total of Champeeeenships!!!

uh….er…ummm….oh sorry, i forgot virtually every trOXan on this site has vociferously argued that women’s sports are a no-count waste of time and do NOT count towards a schools totals NCAA champeenship tally!!!

awwww, that’s a shame. pero no te preocupes, gals, trOXan ladies have always found refuge in the arms of an understanding Bruin, right ladies??? ; )

    • Hi Chuckles! Thanks for attacking me! I’m the one type of argument you haves chance of winning.

      Sincerely,

    • Quit being a 8=D (his actual size)

I can see why you’re always the target when it comes to butt darts….ouch!

Lets start off with a hard kick to the crotch!

  4. Imagine for a moment that you are a USC student on the water polo team, golf team, etc. The USC beat writer who runs a blog called “Inside USC” (not, say, “The Kiff Report” or “Pious Passer Daily”) is probably only going to post an item about you a couple of times a year, if even that much. You make it to the national championship round, game, tournament, etc., of your sport. The USC beat writer finally writes one short post about you — and he still cannot refrain from using that post to take a sarcastic jab at the football team. Here’s one for your scrapbooks, kids!
