USC Wins Women’s Golf Title

The Trojans breezed to a 21-stroke victory over Duke in the NCAA women’s golf championships at Athens, Ga. Freshman Annie Park won the individual title by six strokes. Even more impressive, Park graduated from high school early to enroll at USC in January.

How come she didn’t get on that poster hyping the early enrollees for football?

Former USC TE Jordan Cameron Might Start In Cleveland

New Browns offensive coordinator Norv Turner told ESPN Cleveland that, “Jordan’s been outstanding in these (mini) camps,” this week. Cameron is about to start his third NFL season after playing at USC and is currently projected as the Browns’ No. 1 TE.

The women’s golf team is currently holding an 18-stroke lead over Duke as the fourth round is just beginning in Athens, Ga. Freshman Annie Park holds a 2-stroke lead in the individual competition.

USC A.D. Pat Haden Writes Letter To Get Fans To Support Coliseum Lease Plan At Public Hearings

Pat Haden announced in a letter today that he would USC fans to support the university’s plan to take over control of the Coliseum.

“Over the past year, USC met with representatives of the State, the California Science Center Board, and all of the Exposition Park entities to structure a parking agreement,” Haden wrote. “These collaborative conversations and negotiations were formalized in a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between USC and the State, which we believe adequately addresses all of the stakeholders’ needs to ensure that every park entity, including the Coliseum and Sports Arena, can be successful.”

The state senate recently decided its approval is needed for any parking agreements.
