USC Freshman Golfer Annie Park Wins Honda Award

Annie Park, who led USC to the NCAA women’s golf title and won the NCAA individual title, received the Honda Sports Award for golf and becomes a finalist for the 2013 Honda Cup.

“I could not have imagined a better first semester to my college career,” Park said. “Becoming a Trojan in January and being part of this team has been a fantastic experience and I’m just happy I was able to contribute to our NCAA and Pac-12 titles.”

  1. Congrats to this very fine young lady. The University of Spoiled Children seems to do a very good job when recruiting athletes for non revenue sports. They appear to be Student Athletes in the truest sense. I would imagine these athletes are held to “HIGHER ADMISSION STANDARDS” than the knuckle draggin slobs recruited for basketball and football. No doubt the image and reputation for U Stupid Cheaters has deservedly taken more than a few hits over the last couple of years. With football season approaching and about to deliver a less than impressive record, perhaps it’s time to reexamine the embarrassingly low standards “required” of athletes competing in “OTHER” sports and decide if you are going to remain a DIPLOMA FACTORY (and the butt end of all jokes about ADKEDEMICS) or are you going to raise your standards so you can be mentioned in the same breath as Cal, Stanford, UCLA? After all, you cant spell SCUM without U.S.C.
    fit on torgans!

    • Those are the LAST 3 we’d want to be mentioned with. Heck, between the three of them, there’s ONLY 1/2 of a NC in football since 1935! ROFLMAO

      • WOW …you kinda got me there nubsie….USC is KING w/ ONE National Championship in the last 40+ YEARS! Mythical/hypothetical championships don’t really count do they?
You’re right….why would anyone want to go to Cal, Stanford or UCLA, when you can claim to have a football national championship ONCE every 50 years or so, and boast about attending the same school as O.J.?
No wonder you guys are all arrogant!
        fit UN Torgan!

        • 40 years? Hmmmm how long ago was 2004&2005? How long ago was 1978? Or 1974? Ur an idiot.

          • Nubsie my friend…..Unlike UCLA Basketball, where the NCAA Tournament determines the actual eventual Champion, SUCks has won a few mythical championships, but none OUTRIGHT since 1972 (41 years ago). You mentioned 2004, that year was vacated because of The SANCTIONS (remember?). You also (surprisingly) mentioned 2005, which was the Year SCUm got embarrassed by Texas in the final game (remember?, I do!) In 1978, SCUM sort of shared the title with Oklahoma, and Alabama…., and in 1974 Oklahoma shared the honor with SCUm. (In Basketball, UCLA NEVER SHARED a title/National Championship with anybody! Titles were WON on the court, and were not AWARDED by some computer or Sportswriting RAH RAH. It has been 41 years….,plain and simple.

A big Torgan “FIT UN” shout out to you and your buddy torganfail. When it comes to idiots, you guys are #1
            fit un!

          • WHY WHY WHY? Only a idiot would troll a rival blog 24/7. no one gives a fuc what UCLA did.

You have got a bad bad case of penis envy. Get yourself a boy toy and move on, but first you need to fix the mental issues

          • And the bRuins split in 1954! 1954! The year your wife gave birth to the little taco!

    • Get some new material. No one gives a shlt what you have to say. Go troll a blog that might respect your worthless opinions

Try winning at least one BSC game before you start pouring shlt out your piehole. Wait, I’ll make it easier on you, how about a conference title

  2. My favorite part is always when Bruins don’t understand how USC can be ranked on the same level as UCLA as a college, despite ‘lower admission standards’. That can’t possibly mean we excel in other areas, right?

  3. too bad trOXans don’t recognize women’s sports : (

    right NUBS??
