Would Pac-12 Contact Reduction Even Affect USC?

With only 75 scholarships and less margin for error with injuries, would the Pac-12’s desire to cut down on contact days actually help USC? Or at least have little impact because USC will need to cut down on contact anyways.

I’ll bet USC’s had less contact days the past three years than whatever rules the Pac-12 establishes this summer. It’s likely to have more impact on Stanford or Washington than USC.
