USC Morning Buzz

Tailback James Toland IV of Shadow Hills High School in Indio will join USC as a preferred walk-on. Toland rushed for 2,649 yards and 39 touchdowns last season. USC invited him to join the roster last month and he quickly accepted.

  1. Knowing how USC football operates, I am in disbelief that a prospect of this caliber is willing to attend USC as a walk-on athlete. It is obvious that USC has offered him improper benefits in an attempt to sway him towards their dirty and underachieving football program. This is now the level your program has lowered itself to. No class.
