USC Morning Buzz

UCLA baseball coach John Savage, who won the school’s first College World Series title last night, was a former USC assistant. He was asked after winning the title about the influence of former USC coach Mike Gillespie.

“I wouldn’t be here without him,” Savage said.

  2. And that folks, is why everybody calls it YESTERDAY U!!!! Back in the good old days, nobody feared the NCAA. Cheating, lying, paying players UNDER THE TABLE was the way to go and LIMBO U was the best at taking advantage of the system. Not No Mo.
    With the Lady Torgans bringing in National Championships coupled with the weak boys performance, you’d think SCUm was a girls school (or at least a men’s breeding ground for The Los Angeles County Jails).

  3. Congrats to the bRuins winning a legit NC in a real sport and didn’t have to use Sam Gilbert type players the way Woodie did in BB.
