USC Morning Buzz

Wide receiver Speedy Noil, who won the Nike Sparq competition, at the The Opening yesterday, lists his top three choices as Florida, USC and LSU. Meanwhile, wide receiver-cornerback Adoree Jackson of Serra said he is currently speaking to only one track coach (Florida).

That is interesting because USC’s track program is currently going through a transition and most of the assistant coaches have been let go. So there really isn’t anyone to speak to Jackson, who is an elite long jumper. Who USC hires to be its jumps coach could be a significant move for football too.

I’m sure the new jumps coach will be a black female.
