USC’s new track coach, Caryl Smith-Gilbert, was hired from Central Florida. UCLA women’s coach Jeanette Bolden resigned to take Smith-Gilbert’s job at Central Florida. And USC men’s assistant John Henry Johnson, who was not retained by Smith-Gilbert, was hired to replace Bolden as the UCLA women’s coach.
