Isn’t the real reason high school athletes take these visits is to placate their egos and be treated like rock stars? Something has gone terribly wrong with college athletics which has resulted in broken commitments, stupid hat games during announcements, transfers, announcing school choice on TV, etc. The media needs to take responsibility for ego boost.
