Tim Floyd Flip Flop?

Does it matter that when Tim Floyd coached at USC he wanted the NCAA to grant a waiver for Alex Stepheson to be immediately eligible when he transferred from North Carolina because Stepheson wanted to be closer to his ill father. And that Floyd is now denying a release for Isaac Hamilton because Hamilton said he wants to be near his ailing grandmother.

      Correct, Joe.

And it goes beyond consistency being the “hobgoblin of petty minds.” College coaches, like businessmen, politicians, and pretty much all of us, mostly pursue self-interest, and then justify it with a convenient ethical/moral platitude that suits the occasion.

What else is new, right, Joe?
