Baseball Hires Assistant Coach

USC coach Dan Hubbs has hired former Cal State Northridge coach Matt Curtis as an assistant coach. Curtis has a reputation for being a good recruiter, which is something the baseball program could use right now.

  1. Let Hubbs and this guy run with the team for 5 years, I mean, at this point could he run it into the ground any further that the previous two guys did ?

    • What a joke. CSUN has been a nothing program for the last few years. Who do this guy recruit? Some reason that a good asst. from a solid, winning program can’t be found and hired? Hubbs must have a lucky charm to be retained with a lousy job the last two years as pitching coach and head coach.
